DIRECTOR
My name is Yeung Nga Wing Nicola; I am a final year student who studies ‘Digital Media” at Coventry University. I was born and raised in Hong Kong. Through my study period, I tried to participant in 5 videos. I made dramatic and documentary videos. But this is the first time for me to produce a dramatic film all on my own.
Making a dramatic film by myself is not an easy task as I have not been doing all the work independently. But I am glad to choose film and lack of face to face communication as my final project for my B.A. course. It is excellent to complete the whole film. I hope the audience could start making a change after watching my film and realise they should talk to each other more face-to-face.

Kinson Cheung is a Hong Kong YouTuber who loves taking videos. He loved acting when he was young. He was born and raised in Hong Kong and currently study in the United Kingdom.
Jerry Wong as Jerry
Jerry Wong was born and raised in Hong Kong and started his high school in the United Kingdom. He loves to watch different kind of movies.
FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS
Through my film, I would like to explain why people should stop using technology to communicate and have more face-to-face communication. I hope people could put down their phone after they watch my film. It is essential to let the audience know the meaning of the film. When they understand the meaning of the film, parents should stop focus too much on their mobile phone and start to communicate more or have more activities with their children. The storyline in my film can easily bring out why people need to focus on face-to-face communication more. Two actors cannot talk well and feel embarrassed when trying to talk; this reflects social reality. After watching, the audience will realise it affects a lot in their social life and start making change. Moreover, parents should teach their children how to communicate confidently and do not hide behind the keyboards.

USER PERSONA
Lack of face to face communication is occurring globally, and it is not a good idea to target one group of the audience. But if I would like to prevent this problem become more and more critical. I think my user target should be parents because they can influence their children and let them keep away from using them. Parents are always the role model of their child. If they stop using technology that much and use more face-to-face communication, they may affect them. Nowadays, the young adult relies too much on technology so if parents teach their children from a young age, this problem can improve quickly. These two user’s personas represent the parents nowadays. They love to use their phone to communicate and neglect their children. This action made their children learn from them and start use phone to talk to others. If they watch my film, they may know why they don't know what their children think and how to get closer to their family. They can realise that if their children don't know how to communicate, then it would be a vast problem in their daily lives.
USER TESTING
To know how my digital media project works, I found three audiences to give me feedback on the film and anything to improve on the video.
AUDIENCE 1
Your video is good, I love the plot of the story!!! Especially for the ending part, it can send the message (we should communicate with the people face to face) to the audience directly. However, if the volume of background sound (message sound) can turn it down will be better!
AUDIENCE 2
After watching the video, it made self reflection on my daily life. New technology such as mobile phone became an essential product in our life. In the past, we don’t have technology, we have more conversations with friends and family. However, technology can provide more knowledge to us, this affect the communication skill with other. In my opinion, both have advantages, but we need to find the balance point.
AUDIENCE 3
I could clearly understand the message that you want to bring out, and the story is great. Moreover, the background music is suitable with each scene. however, the transactions from the colourful scene to black and white scene is a little bit sudden. You could imply transaction frames between switching the scenes then will be smoother.
I am pleased to have a different kind of feedback from the audience. People's feedback could make me improve in my next video. I agreed with their comments and thought my film could be better if I edited it. It is remarkable that the audience understands the film's message and realises that it is the social reality in their daily lives.
